I've been trouble shooting electrical problems on my 84 gsl 12a It had power steering- Now it just stopped working. has fluid and belt both seem ok Could it be an electrical or ground problem? I suspect this because of so many other electrical problems, and It just stopped working no warning and wasn't low on fluid. Help

Well the ps is pretty simple I guess. My first guess was going to be low on fluid but you say it has fluid. Are you sure one of the two lines isn't split? Any leaks under the car? If not I suppose the pump just went out

 

I assume the pump is bad I did notice it was over filled I will drain some and check belt tension. Thanks.

 

just leave it the way it is, no power steering is the way to go!!
