really loud usually means exhaust leak

se are slow with exhaust leaks because the 2ndary ports do not open properly and sometimes not at all.

Well its not the cat maybe its a clogged fuel injector. I could have some trash in it I guess. I was driving down the interstate going home and all the sudden the car had like half the power it usually does. Its got spark and fuel pressure and exhaust back pressure what else can it be I'm going to check when I get out of work to make sure. does anyone have any input about this.

I'd check to see if all 4 plugs are firing. Check the cap and rotor. Then check the compression on the engine.

well i dont have a compression tester but i took the spark plug out of the front rotor made the 3 woosh sounds put the plug back in tried the same thing on the rear rotor only one woosh. i hope this does not mean apex seals or a cracked rotor. i havent been hard on the car. maybe the guy sold me an engine that had more miles then he said it did if so i might just have a problem. this would really suck if that is what that means.

If you are not getting 3 solid wooshes doing the ghetto compression test then I recommend that you put some MMO in the rear housing and let it soak overnight and see if their is an improvement after a day or so.

Marvel Mystery Oil, not as caustic as the alternative ATF usage.
