i have a 83 12a stock i changed water pump now it idles rough and i lost power when i give it gas it dosent move and it back fires i also took out the air pump and the a/c pulley

 

Welcome to the forum and the Darkside. First suggestion is to go back over your work, you disturbed something while changing out the water pump. Also, if you still have the cats, they will soon plug up without the air pump supplying fresh air to the main cat.
