Well, Victoria British only sells the gasket kits. If that's all you need, then they probably have the best price. To do a proper rebuild, you need the seal kit as well. From Atkins rotary, the full kit is $929. Often, however, you can get thier kits on e-bay for about $700.

The Atkins kit. Like I said, the VB kit only includes the gaskets. To do a good job, you need the seals as well. Make sure you have a good manual as well.

What constitutes a good manual? I have a heynes, but it really only goes so far.... And since it covers from 79-85, it's not always accurate to the car you're working on (mine's an 84 GS, and the carb portion is way off)

Any others I should check out?

Jon

Mazda Factory Manual... ONLY way to go with these cars. You can order one from your friendly Mazda dealer, or if you don't like being taken up the ***, you can wait and search on eBay. There's usually one or two that come up every month. Just gotta watch as some of the factory reprints aren't as good as the originals, in that the pictures are quite a bit blurrier, but the text is still the same..
