use the search feature at the top of the page. its directly below the left rear wheel of the red FC at the top of the page. do an advanced search on suspension or whatever the main point is that you want to learn about. if you cannot find anything, let me know and i will help you search. there are a TON of threads reagarding your question.

Bigger pictures would really help, along with model+year, mileage, condition (what body work needs to be done, is it running) etc.
I would say though, for $500, its probably a pretty good deal.

"..a little rust in the rear" means you need to pull the bins and look at the wheel wells a lot closer...if the body was straight with no rust anywhere, that'd be a good deal, especially with a running engine. I've never heard of 5th gear getting chopped, but at least it isn't a slush box. Look at the total rust picture on this car CAREFULLY...$500 is not worth it if it has the Cancer.
And no, no one has a wide body kit at that price unless it's been damaged.

rx7nerd, sorry, I didn't mean to be so blunt, but you'd be amazed at how many newbs we get that never search and just ask us questions that are asked almost every week. As said, before, welcome to the Darkside. And, definitely check behind your storage bins for rust. That area is notorious for it.
And, stay away from wacky. He's a damn vulture for old skool parts and will do his best to ****** your's away.

Take a look at the last link in my sig. What started off as a small project to be able to fit the wider Epsilon wheels under my 1st gen has turned into a Benjamin eating Pac-Man with no end in sight.

I say go for it. For $300, even if it's a lost cause for some odd reason, you can always part it out and easily get more money for the parts then what you paid for.

Some People...
I know this has nothing to do with this gentleman buying his first 7, and I'm sorry to put this on your thread, but I'm going to say it anyway...
Some of you guys on this site just think because you've been on it for 6 years and have over 1000 posts means that you personally know more, and are therefore better equipped, to answer this mans questions than someone who has, lets say, 30 posts.
And how exactly do you expect the new people to the site to know exactly how to search, let alone find the archive to even find answers to what they are looking for?? I think this site was created to have fun and to help people.
So to kindly tell someone how to find and adequately use the archive can be a great tool for someone new to the rx7, but lets not throw the fact that just b/c you think you are better than anyone else in their faces. It’s just not nice...
Just b/c he has fewer posts than you do not mean that he is any less knowledgeable about the rotaries than you. So stop being a dick.
