Looking for a headlight solution for my FB

My 82 is significantly stripped and full race mode, a previous owner removed the headlights for weight savings. I have been trying to come up with a solution for what to do, I know the lids are there, but they are seemingly **riveted** down, I can reasonably assume there's probably no hardware beneath them aside whatever theyre attached to. I dont necessarily care if they ever pop up again, or frankly if I utilize the spaces to make flush mount lights. I havent found anything super helpful. Id prefer not to break the bank, but I'd hate to ruin the aesthetics as well. I was leaning towards wiring in a pair of small LED light bars, but I have doubts about how they will fair with road use occasionally, I also just dont want it to look like I just threw it together last minute. I have found some pretty pricey flush mounts, but they all seem to utilize factory mounting hardware and brackets I think.

Any ideas or personal experiences to think about?

I'm sure someone here can help you with this issue however, it would help your case to post photos with your request for help. A photo of the lids, open the hood and take photos of what is exactly is underneath the lids, and then post that as a starting point so folks know what your situation is. It will help folks see what you have or don't have and they can offer suggestions, good luck.

Blacktie Motors makes these and another kit. I haven't seen them in person or know how legal they are, just throwing this out there.

I have seen these, I definitely like the flush look much better that screwing on some led light bars over the lids. I emailed them to ask if I needed any original hardware, and they say that it uses none of it, and theyll give me a different harness to utilize on one of my toggle switches in the car. I wish they werent gonna be over 500 all said and done though
