Looking for an altenator

I went looking for an altenator for my rx7 but I've been hearing different things. I've been told that the altenator needs to come from korea or something. Is this true? Does its origin determine weather it'll work in my car or not?

I use a GM CS130 alternator in my car. Almost a direct bolt in and it'll upgrade you to 105amps.

I'll post some pics & a write-up tomorrow

look, heres what you do....go find a junk 88 turbo II and get the alt. out of it then put it in your car, should bolt right up, best thing you'll ever do for it....and 105 amps? you dont need it, why? cause theres not much going electrical crap going on in the first gen, you have your power windows, power mirrors, radio, heater, gauges, lights, tail lights....thats about it.....so unless your running a disney christmas parade in your car then by all means, but other then that theres no use for all that...but then again you might be, depends on what you have in your car....hope this helps

I just went to Advantage Auto and bought an alternator for an 86-88 FC for my 85 FB yesterday. It bolted right on with no problems.
