just need quick help with judging value of my engine

i have a 76 13b thats all stock on a mazda rebuild with around 3K miles. it runs good and strong. im about to buy another engine and i need to get an idea what to ask for this. a local buyer has first dibs on it but i need to decide a price. just wanting to check and see. i saw $2500 for a rebuild from pineappleracing.com, but i know thats much higher than the value of my engine. just look for peoples feedback. thanks

its worth whatever someone will pay for it.
i dont think $1000 would be unreasonable if it ran really well.

Nick wanted me to buy that car...I didnt because of the 80' bodystyle Motor was good perk. $500-$1000 bucks. You can buy a JDM S5 Turbo Engine for 1k.
