SURE, Dan

From 1994 Mariah Motorsports catalog I still have:

126.00 retail 113.00 factory direct for the panel with or without logo for 79-80 models.

90.00 retail 80.00 factory direct for the panel with or without logo for 81-85 models.

Again, I got a new 81-85 without logo.

You could try. Don't know how many of us are left. or how many of us would want one. or how much we'd pay. Mine's for sale.

Could probably do just as good with cans of "Octane Reducer... the whip *** for Wankel engines only".

You'd get all the gens ( 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and the 8's ) business.

Just make DAMN SURE it says that it has your minimum daily requirement of Marvel Mystery Oil in it and it'll sell like hotcakes.

( Uhhh...when was the last time you bought a hotcake ? )

Wasn't there another company selling them for ~$20-$40 in the early 80's? IIRC they had ads in the Rotary Rocket... They shouldn't cost more than a few dollars to make, so you would have a huge margin. Opportunities are everywhere: You could scavenge junkyards buying sunroofs for $20 and re-selling them for $200. And you could also do a good business in rear seats, cheap wheels, louvres, and "clear" signal lenses. Ah, the stuff we threw away...
Go for it.

good idea dan...ive always wanted to paint Rx-7 across the black one that i (and most people) have. i didnt know that this was actually already done...idk how well red would go with my clear tails, but if you did make these parts again...i would suggest a much lower price...$50? Just cuz i know that most first gen owners arnt rich...like me...

Ummm not to be a smart *** or anything, but i really don't think those would be much to fabricate. anyone with an engraving machine ( like me) some 2 tone plastic (prob about 15 bucks for something that size) and a couple of nuts (about 10 cents ) slap both them togethere and boom there you go. Heck maybe i should try making one. Or even better maybe i should do personalized ones. Now that would be even better. (For all you guys that you have hopped to get that dream licenses plate combo this might be a dream come true ... well almost :P )
