sore knees / 6'4"

sorry to bring back an old post but i thought it would be better than a new thread.

I am 6'4" / 210lb and fit fine in my car.. it took some getting used to entry/exit but i have smoothed that out.

I have found that after some spirited driving for over an hour I get really sore knees! My seat is not all the way back, but i have tilted it back 1 notch. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced knee soreness and found a fix?

I have an aftermarket steering wheel which is a bit smaller than stock.

Cheers

Some years ago, there was a story in the newspaper about a girl in Finland who was 6' 2". None of the young men in her village was over 6', so she had a tough time getting a date. A surgeon removed 2" of bone from each thigh, so that she could improve her chances for marriage.

I'm 6'1". My seat is all the way back and slightly reclined. Also, one of the ways to get comfortable is to use the dead pedal to the left of the clutch. Otherwise, you tend to pull your left knee up too high to be comfortable. Obviusly your right foot should have the accelerator pushed all the way to floor most of the time :-). The steering wheels not a problem for me as I'm only about 180 lbs. I can see that would be an issue if your a bit rounder, so to speak.

I'm 6'3" and fit fine, but I did get a smaller steering wheel.
