located an engine, couple questions
ok. so the history is that i have a '84 GSL-SE with a dead horse up front. i've been looking for a replacement gsl-se engine but those are hard to find, so i've extended my search to a FC engine.
the engine i've found will be excellent if it runs; it's a S4 NA with a mild port job and a pretty fresh rebuild that's been sitting a while in a B2200.
for $300 i can take the complete engine, wiring, and computer. even the REPU diff if i want (i don't).
it's about 250mi away and i have a guy from the forum checking it out and he thinks it's a good deal. besides if it's broken, at least it'd be rebuildable (mine isn't; too many miles; housings = toast)
good times.
now for my question. to get this physically into a gsl-se, i'd just need to swap the front cover over from my SE and replace the seals under there, correct?
as far as getting it running goes, aside from the computer and engine harness, what should i replace?
also, how much is a fair price for a pair of GSL-SE injectors? i won't need mine with the FC engine.
