If you don't feel like restoring it, I will!!!!! I've always loved that color paint. Seriously..... I'll take it off your hands.

Was that comment directed at me? If so you might as well forget it, not that I wouldn't be interested in getting rid of it, its just that there are MUCH better cars to resto out there. You can't even jack this car up without the frame crumbling under the weight from all the rust. The rear wheel wells have enormous holes in them, the list of bad stuff goes on... Plus those pics on my site are an accurate representation anyway, many parts have been removed, and its basically only good for parts, which is what its currently being used for. My suggestion would be, if your willing to go through all the work of a true restoration then you wouldn't mind getting a solid car and changing the color to Chateau silver. Thats what I plan to do someday anyway, just a thought.

82transam, no that comment was directed at RotoryMotorDisorder although I have thought about buying a local GSL-SE I've been eyeing and painting it that color.

Ok, I thought you were talking to him, but I figured I'd cover my bases anyway. Getting a better car and simply painting it that sounds like a good plan.

Heres a pic of the car.. not in the best detail but you can at least see it. Note the engine puller.. thats science at its best! ... or worst LOL. Hey, it worked and it worked great! Still not sure what im gonna do with the car. I might just strip everything off it and ditch the car. I cant make up my mind. Enjoy.

I've always liked those LE wheels. Let me know if you want to get rid of them.

79 Limited Edition

I just happen to have a 79 limited edition that I bought in 1980.
It has been sitting for several years, I have been thinking about taking
the body panels and transmission out to use for spares to my SCCA
IT-7 racer. The limiteds did have a sunroof, the car was painted charcoal grey
(metalic paint) with a silver and burgandy pin stripe, bluesh gray cloth
interior, there should be a badge on each side of car that states limited, it aso had
special wheels, if you look at similar threads to limited edition posted by cdn9146,
he has a picture of one that he was selling. the rear end is not lsd,
you can also tell by looking at the vin number on the firewall,
I don't remember off hand what letter designates it as a limited, but I
can look when I get home today.
