LIM coolant block off?

Any danger in blocking the coolant passages to the LIM? Just curious. I blocked them off awhile back and am not experiencing any problems, but I thought I'd ask the experts.

The coolant that flows through the intake keeps the intake manifold from icing up in cold weather. It also helps the engine warm up quicker during cold weather by heating the fuel mixture. Since none of the aftermarket intakes have runners for coolant and seem to run ok, you shouldn't have issues.

That's what I figured. My old RB Weber LIM was blocked off. The Nikki LIM feels colder when blocked off so I supposed it could increase power? Or maybe it isn't going to make a difference either way.

A cooler air/fuel mixture packs more energy in the same volume, good for turbos, small improvement for NA.

GSL-SEs do not route coolant through the LIM.

12As do not have LIMs.

Therefore, the question is moot for a 1st-gen.

If it's not a LIM what is it? Carburetor manifold? That's what I'm talking about. 79 12a with 83 intake mani and 83 Nikki.
