Ok I have a 85 gsl n i bought a 83 body harness everything is plugged in right I believe but now my taillights n headlights flash with blinkers and my right side headlight stays up n the left one stays down I try to spin it up all manually and it goes 1/4 way up then spins all the way up then back down on its own. It's the 83 flasher box and the 85 multi function switch any body have an idea I need help

 

The 1983 harness is different then the 1984/1985. Not sure if that your your problem or not. Your probably going to to have to trace out/examine the differences in the wiring schematics to narrow down the issue.
