test fitting C7 carbon fiber spoiler
I recently ordered a fiberglass spoiler from C7 Carbon (used to be Retrospec) and after a while of waiting, I hadn't heard any response as the status of my spoiler. So I gave them a call, and when I was told that my spoiler hadn't been started on yet they were willing to give me a carbon fiber one that was already made for the same price. That's pretty decent customer support if you ask me.
Anyways, this is the site:

The fitment is actually very good, I was surprised to see how good it was. I'll be sure to post more pictures once it warms up with the wheels back on too.

LMAO probably true. I'm repainting my T2 Fb back to its original sunrise red in a few months, so our cars are definatly similar. The C7 spoiler is probably going on my other FB though, the T2FB has a IMSA 3 piece, would be hard pressed to remove that...

I bought it back in 2002 lol.
What are you using to mount the C7 spoiler? I got a bunch of small stainless steel screws that I was going to use for mine. Again haven't actually done it yet though...

Nutserts, which is what I used for the flares. It looks very clean and professional and allows me to pull the wing (and flares) off when I want to.
A little more expensive, and slightly more time consuming, than just stainless screws but worth it in the long run.

Basically, nutserts are internally threaded tubes that are attached to the body by:
1) drilling the proper size hole where you want it (measure twice, drill once!)
2) insert the nutsert and properly fasten the nutsert to the chassis
- Nutserts are fastened by basically pressing the nutsert into the chassis
(this could be done with the proper nutsert tool and a properly threaded bolt, or by using two regular nuts and a bolt -- I recommend buying the tool though.)
3) Mount and install!
I decided to use hex headed stainless bolts, I think overall they turned out well.
(I haven't cut out the existing fender underneath the flare yet, its a project taking place this spring after I get some more welding practice in)

Looks good! Might have to consider those for my install instead of just sheet metal screws... You're tempting me to get flares now...
BTW are those ZG Flares? I thought they went farther down the wheel well than that, or did you cut them shorter

Thank you! To be honest, I had them laying around the shop, and I'm not exactly sure what they're for. They are not zg flares though; and I did trim the rears to make them look a little more aggressive.

Mounted the spoiler this weekend. It came out pretty well, however I want to point out that I did find cracks in the resin already, before installing it. I'm not sure if it was a shipping issue or the way it was made. It isn't a huge deal to me since its so minimal, so I mounted it anyways. I had to use different bolt heads than on the flares (they didn't have button head bolts for the size nutserts I used) but regardless I'm generally happy with how it came out.
Also got the hood painted and put the stage 3 clutch in. Productive weekend.

I think there is something great about a period car; if it were me and I already owned an IMSA wing, then I would've used that. Thanks though, this is a great second choice. The spoiler matches the body lines well and give it a nice and updated look.
I'm still wearing the new clutch in, but when I get to do some more high speed runs I'll try to "butt dyno" how the new wing helps high speed stability.

Sorry to bump up an old thread, but I was searching for this to use your pics in a WTB ad. I'm trying to find another one of these spoilers, hope you don't mind me using your pics
Anyway, quick question. When these pics were taken were you running a spacer or anything on the wheels? I figured the stock 13's would have looked more "sunken" with flares than they do in these pics. I actually really like the look
