i highly recommendation this product to keep it clean and protected. Once application will last a long time too. 303 Aerospace Protectant http://www.303products.com/tech/inde...Product_ID=428 I can attest to this product. It will form a great barrier to resist scratches, dirt, dust, static.

it still has the static thing going on which is why all the dust is stuck to it

yea i cut plexi at work and everything sticks to it, give it a try. I did the whole interior of my car the vinyl the plastic with a bottle of it and a year later it looks great. It's like a fresh coat of armor all with that shine but it dries and you don't get that lame *** oily film which then attracts dust like no other.

That's seriously a lot of work I commend you. I helped a buddy with his and it is time consuming and a pain in the ***. If you crack a sheet your fucked I hate Lexan and love it all at the same time. My dash is 1/3 lexan painted black but not near the amount of work you put in. Good job.

thank you. yeah i think the most time consuming part of that was riveting everything in. that and actually cutting the shapes out.

Out of curiosty why not nuts and bolts in case teh lexan cracks? It would be easy to cut and replace that way would it not?

it takes less time to drill out a pop rivet and replace it then it does to remove a nut and bolt and replace it. plus nuts and bolt are WAY more of a pain in the ***.

and honestly to crack/break lexan you have to be trying. and even when your trying its still not easy to do.

plexiglass is different that **** breaks no problem. all you have to do is look at it funny.

you would have to bend lexan back on itself to get it to break. or hit it with some serious force

polycarbonate will not break as easy...It's really flexible...When i was taking the the 4 foot by 8 foot sheet I had it bent at a 90 in my truck with no problems, while it was still blowing in the wind driving on the highway at 80 miles an hour...
