Lets get This Straight: Stock vs. Stock
What cars can a 1st gen run with and beat, stock vs stock. either 12a or 13b engine. I want to see a whole list here.

Why would anyone waste time making a complete list? So hou have a quick reference of what to try to race at the stop light?
Stock for stock they run with anything else that's slow as **** by todays standards.

beat? you mean in a 1/4 mile drag?
This car was never designed for this, kind of a silly question. it can beat alot of brand new cars in the curves though.
Its kinda like asking what football teams the Yankees could beat in a Football game....

Of course, the US only got slow, detuned versions of the Gen 1.The 1985 12A Turbo efi series were by far the best Gen 1 made. The performance of the base model GT was top speed 145mph, 15.3 second 1/4 mile and 28mpg. The LV and GT-X models had the same performance with the SE-Ltd a little slower due to the extra weight of the luxury equipment.
The Rx-7 types 252, 253, 254 and 717 were quick, but I have not driven them or read a road report so unfortunately can not give information.

Don't even bother racing the stock 12a against really anything lol. Maybe some older stock honda civics. When I was stock I couldnt even beat a newer corolla. =(
