Maybe your not supposed to be able to drain the oil...I heard its a unique performance upgrade mixing the old oil with new gives you an extra 20hp...lol

I am curious if some of you may know or not know who Stan is. If you followed some racing you may get a better picture of the guy.

Dear Stan,

As you may know, during the 2003 Runoffs participants were able to nominate mechanics for the Mechanic of the Year. While you were not selected as this year's new winner, we want to congratulate you on being nominated. To be nominated for this award means you have shown a true dedication to your work, to your team and to the sport. You have often made sacrifices for the sake of your craft and many times been rewarded by successful poles, wins, points or just a very happy driver. It is the commitment that you have shown that makes you an exceptional mechanic, a role model to others and an outstanding SCCA member.

We at the National office want to say THANK YOU for your hard work and dedication to this sport and to SCCA. We believe you deserve to know how well you are thought of so we have enclosed the peer nomination forms praising your work which we received at the Runoffs.

We also believe that all good deeds should be recognized. To show you how much we appreciate your devotion, enclosed pleas find a clock with pen and notepad to keep your thoughts flowing and your timing perfect.

Keep up the excellent work! Thanks for being here.
Yours in the Sport,

Phil Clarke

SCCA Club Racing Manager Jeremy Thoennes
