CA Leaking Steering Box 1985 GSL-SE

My 1985 GSL-SE has a leaky power steering box. The label shown on top of the unit is "441-07300 Power Steering" but I can't find any reference to this part anywhere.

I see RockAuto has 3 different choices for kits labeled "Steering Gear Rebuild Kit" so I think that is the kit I need but I am not certain about anything.

Can anyone recommend a rebuild kit if it exists and share their solutions?

TIA

I can't speak for any of these RockAuto kits, however, Atkins says they are reproducing these.

Good thread on the rebuild. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generati...-pump-1140106/

I also found this parts catelog from TransTec.com that list the rebuild kit HB40-32-610 https://transtec.com/. There is this page they have that list local retailers that may be able to get it. https://transtec.com/where-to-buy/

Atkins Rotary ARE850 Steering Gear Box

I think you are referencing the steering pump. The leak I have is in the Steering Box which is above the pump and has a shaft going to the steering wheel.

Good catch. Looking at the rebuild parts available from Mazda, the OEM parts are pretty expensive, especially if you need a new sector shaft. I see the RockAuto kit does not include the bearing. Almost wants someone to convert to a rack.
