well if your window regulators are **** you can push done with some force it the will go down or if you have a lock on one of the doors liek mine any key will work to get in lol, i can even use a stick to turn the lock.

My record is about 3 seconds, using a paperclip. Kind of scary, but thieves will generally break a window--sometimes even if the car is unlocked.

yep i have had this happen adn there was 2 6x9 in box jsut sittin on on the seats and they werenet evne stollen so we figure it was just teenagers breakin crap. if there is nothing in the cars to steel we just keep the cars unlocked to prevent them from breaking the window

Don't know nothing about a paper clip but I am about 2 secs. from my key when there locked in and i'm in my house. Nothing like a peice of sheet metal for those old cars. Reason why I learned was the fact that I lock my keys inside the car(even thought if you have to lift the handle to lock the door..lol)while it was on at a graduation.

^ hows that for a hint??

*caution* if you know what I am talking about.. I think there illegal now.. use at your own risk!

side note: I can open my camry in less than 4 sec.s the method above doesn't work on my camry.

Screwdriver or any other random key + driver's lock cylinder = into car in seconds with no damager or picking.

Often after 20yrs the drivers lock cylinders are so worn that almost anything will turn them. I borrowed my friend's front door house key and got it to turn.

I figure I've got other ways of keeping theives from taking my car, at least until I get a better way of keeping them out

Trochoid, pls PM me with your instructions if you would. After locking my keys in my DD back in January for the first time in almost 30 yrs of driving (350 miles from home of course), this kind of thing would be good to know for the RX as my wife doesn't carry a spare for it as she does for the other cars.
