Theres nothing to it. Just pull the wire (black and yellow strip on mine) that goes to the starter solinoid and run it to the swithc and then run the wrire from the other side of the swithc back to the solinoid.

Well FB II, I was just wondering what other kind of mods have been made to this cars. I like to find them and bookmark them for feature reff. Not like I am going to go now and play with my ignition. hehe

Its VERY easy to do. Do it exactly as racintang said, but use a relay to control the solenoid instead of just going through the push button with that big 12gauge wire. Just stick a relay in the wire going to the starter solenoid, then have a switch inside the car that activates said relay and go from there.

I second the use of a relay.

i agree, though i must say ive got mine wired straight from the battery to a shiny chrome pushbutton i got at walmart and down to the starter. the button has held up admirably so far, but really it would be so much better to have used a relay.
