There is a switch that tells the buzzer to sound when the key is in the ignition. I'm wondering where the switch is located?

I would think that the buzzer itself would be in the CPU (where all the hazards and turn signal **** is). Start poking around in there and see what you find. If I remember, I'll check out a wiring diagram tomorrow and see if I can locate it.

I know where the buzzer is.....I need to know where the ignition key reminder switch is, which is what Mazda calls it.

If it's built into the ignition switch, then I'm pretty much screwed.

Where were you sticking the screw driver around? Isn't the buzzer down under the dash in the flasher cpu?

By the way, I looked under the passenger bin to see where the seat belt wire goes......turns out it runs right into a little lake about 2 inches deep....I don't think that's my problem because there is still a signal coming through this wire.

So you think the ignition switch is the reason your buzzer won't work? If i ever figure out how to get the ign switch outt the limited we could always check it just to see if thats it.

It's a possibility. When it did work (for one day), I could wiggle the key around and it would make the buzzer emit weird tones.
