K&N and RB holley Question

Alright so i got this plastic piece from K&N i think its called a stubstack?? Does anyone know if that is suppose to go all the way doen to the bottom of the carburator or does it sit on the notced ... cause if its suppose to go all the way down I think thaot I need to do some light trimming ot make it fit.

The substack is just a press fit affair. It won't sit all the way down, but it doesn't need to.... Make sure to hook that piece of tubing up after you put the stack in too.. It helps with keeping the engine from stumbling when turning... Oh, and I mailed out the filter, FPR, and gauge the other day too!

Leave the piece of tubing? The one that you had on the top holes? black rubber tube?

I'll try that out once i go out there ... i htough you had that in there to keep dust and stuff from doing int there. Lol
