i was wondering if it was just because of summer that people stare at my car all the time now. when i drive everyone stops and checks out my car and every ricer i pass gives me the stare down and then pipes me. what is the deal. in the winter my car gets no respect but in the summer for some reason people can't stop looking. weird, but the ricers will stop piping me when i get my new exhaust next week

 

it could be that more "ricers" recognize a RX-7 when they see one, so they may assume your all about racing, or just want to yanky your *****, etc. I notice that while driving my stock 87 SE, a lot of people stare at it, and follow me real close. (its red) I'm not sure if its because they know its a RX-7, or because it looks like a cheap 80's car because I can't afford nice rims and spoilers and what not....either way, you'll always get some ricer messing with you when he hears the exhaust note.....
