Question Just rebuilt carb, now cutting out under wot.

Just did a full carb rebuild and stripping of the nikki.

I am experiencing fuel cut/lean after having WOT through first, second and at the top of third gear.

As soona s i ht 6K in third under WOT Load it bucks and i can tell it's leaning out and not getting enough fuel.

What could cause this?

My float levels are slighter higher than the mark on the sight glass. We had to adjust the throttle bore as well when we rebuilt. My Vac ADV IS hooked up...

My vac sourcing and emissions are all in good order and are routed correctly.

I have my carb vent open to atmosphere...would this cause this due to lack of pressure or Vacumm??

Thanks,
Eric

What do you mean you have it vented to atmosphere?
Do you mean you do not have the vent solenoid hooked up?

No no i have the vent solenoid hooked up but the vent hole out of the float bowels i have a small breather on instead of having the vacuum lines from the crank case ventilation. I'm not sure if that makes much sense...i'll take pic and show you guys what i mean. And i will change the fuel filter tomorrow and see if it helps. =]

Thanks alot guys for the input.

What do you mean you had to "adjust the throttle bore"?
