Not sure about your install (do you have a header? Have you removed the previous exhaust...cause that could be a biach)
I just replaced my old header/presilencer with a new R/B header and a straight pipe (had brand new R/B PowerPulse muffler). It's just a tad louder and it was very easy...but all of my old stuff just unbolted (gotta love anti-seize!)

i had to cut the bolts off to get my old cats out. go get new bolts at lowes etc etc. it wasnt hard tho. i just used some of the gold or whatever super high temp silicon gasket stuff. whatever is higher than red. it wasnt hard. just time consuming. regardless, it is straight forward.

Lol no sensors. Cars too old for sensors! It's 4 bolts, but if it's all stock they might be a biotch to remove. When you put tue new bolts in (or stock if they come apart) use antiseize so if there is a next time it will be easier.

Not a big proponent of "Muffler Shop Guy" doing anything for me at all, but if it's just to use a torch to cut the old bolts out and put the new pipe on.....might just be a lot easier, and they shouldn't charge much more than $30- $50?
Just, once you get home immediately check the work they did. Make sure you use 2 new gaskets and anti-seize.

You are good to go. They send the gaskets with the unit. Just bolt it in and don't strip anything. You will like the sound.

This is what the bonez pipe sounded on my 83 stock 12a in my garage. I felt the sound was exactly what i was looking for, price fit the budget, performance improved and quality was fantastic!

no point in being worried about it. you have to do it anyway.
