Its a German kit car... apparently upon further research they built the car with like a 15k state grant... the kit in base form runs about 21k...

Teh impressive thing is it was done by a group of highschoolers. It runs on bio disel (soybean oil) and a large capacitor allowing for quick discharge to get the low 0-60 time.
