just a few more Tii swap q's
1. how do i tell what series the Tii i have is? IE s3?s5? wtf?
2. will the 12a oil pan and front cover fit all of the Tii series engines?
3. also turns out my Tii ecu is toast, will a unit such as the haltech and what not take the place of my ecu or is it meant to piggy back?
3. cont ^ in other words do i need to source another ecu or am i going to be fine with a unit like the haltech?
4. what kind of power does a stock port Tii make?

1) look at the turbo manifold, if its split its and S5 if its not than its and s4
2) need a 13b
3) just buy a new ECU, they are alot cheaper than going standalone
4)alot for a FB around 200
Wish you didnt live on the other side of texas! lol

To drop the engine in you need to use a GSL-SE oil pan and any 1st gen. front cover. You must then either bend the engine bracket forward, slot the mounting holes or use the Racing Beat engine bracket. This is due to the 13B being longer than the 12A.
ECU's such as the Haltech, Microtech etc, are standalone systems meaning they don't need the stock ECU. They are far superior from a performance and tuning standpoint.
