I love it, Silver looks so good on a first gen, and not a bad price at all!
what are your plans for her?

Thanks. Its a 65' Falcon, and I am selling it. However it's not a real convertible, I cut the top off ( which I still have ) and it's a strait 6.

Thanks. I bought it for a daily driver. I work about 7 miles away and dont always like taking my FD. I know I need to do something about the cats, I think there clogged cuz she's real quite.....you can barely hear the exhaust. She revs a little slow too. I also want to look into doing allot of reliability mods. Eventually, down the line, I may make a race car out of it.

I may be wrong, but are those the original seats? Also, you don't really have to mod it for it to be reliable.

so how long till you sell the FD?

That's what my GSL looks like from the outside... inside is vastly different

I was at Denny's today and I looking out of the garage window was kinda disorienting - my silver GSL and the two silver GSL-SEs Triple vision!

please gimme a true comparison!

I see you are a gen 3 owner..

So obviously your a rotor romantic, however, how do you like the way she runs out??
what is the comparison in handling (keep in mind that the gen3 is at least 9 years newer techmology)
does it feel heavier,..more nimble...

Im dying to know....

Yeah they are the originals. One of the first things I did was remove the sheep skins the previous owner had put on them, along with a funky *** steering wheel cover
As far as reliability mods... I was thinking of opening-up the exhuast, to reduce heat and stress on the motor. I want to look into swapping out the oil cooler for an Air to Oil unit instead of the stock water to oil, I hear they arent nearly as efficient. And maybe electric fans.

Yeah, I'm definetly feeling some rotor fever. I'm real happy with them both.
As far as handling, My first impressions are that my 1st gen is much more predictable, especially at the peak of the car's handling limit. And wow! its so much fun driving my 1st gen, I catch myself laughing whipping around corners. Its too soon to give a real good comparison, I havent pushed the 1st gen enough yet, I'm worried about the damm clogged cat. Tommorow I get a smog check, then I'm gonna get something else in there.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments
