ok, now that i have calmed down, heres the rational thing. i pulled my plugs out to see if they were wet. the leading ones were just fine. look as if they hadnt been touched. the trailing though had a black residue on them. they were wet. what could cause this???
You could just be flooded from all the cranking, pull the plugs out and pull the fuse for the fuel pump and crank the motor over to get all the fuel and crap out of there. Clean off the plugs and try to get her started. You are getting good compression right?

dont know if its any help but i know what black residue **** your talking about, i dont know what it is but it was on my plugs too. i said screw it and stuck em in anyway and it worked fine, and my car hasnt been cranked in 7 years...
Ok dude, first thing you need to remember is self control. If you fly off the handle and smack something, you'll be repairing it at a later date, and you're going backwards. Just relax, if it ***** you off then back up a bit and go watch some simpsons or something. Jeez.
Now, go get a mate (friend for all you US people) and get them to tow start it. Get a long rope or a couple of old seatbelts and tow the thing for a mile or so - once it starts, let it run at 2000rpm for 10 minutes or so, then go nail it on a back road until it's cleared out. THEN you can decide how bad everything is, and if you need new gaskets or floats or whatever.

- Charge battery completely.
- Get a vehicle next to yours and get the jumper cables connected between the two, then rev the other vehicle at a constant 2500rpm to engage high side of alternator output. Cables should be connected to battery in other vehicle; on your RX-7, positive to battery, negative cable clamp to alternator bracket, not the battery negative.
- Spray Gumout Carb Cleaner down open primary throats and then spray air cleaner filter element and close lid.
- Wait about 15 seconds for everything to vaporize nicely, step all the way down on the throttle, hold it there for 5 seconds and then start the car.
You shouldn't even have to pull the plugs for this and, no, car starting fluid will not do the same thing. This is based on experience.
