Question Jobs among 1st Gen owners.

Since going thru alot of profiles to see what cars ppl have I have also noticed another trend. Is it just me or do a lot of computer guys just love the older rx-7s? Haven't looked around the newer ones, but from what I have seen they seem to be less into computers then most 1st gen owners. So I am wondering what all some of you guys do for a living?

Me, I am a full time student at college soon, and work as a network assistant for money. Going to college for CS. And I am a huge anime fan, any 1st gen owners like anime?

I am 18 and just finished High School courses in Computer Services and Networking, and have my A+ Certification. Im currently working on my MCSE cert. So yes, I am onto computers . I also have a hobby with building computers at home, so if anyone wants any input or opinions or a computer, let me know .

I am a mechanical engineer with a masters degree. I know unique clever engineering when I see it. That's why both my cars are rotaries.

Computer programmer here! My expertise lies in the world of Unix and TCP/IP. Haven't willingly touched a crappy Micky$oft product in over 6 years.

Winston Churchill once said "Out of intense complexities, intense simplicities emerge." Some of the most elegant software I have ever seen or written is extremely simple in structure and function. Kinda like the rotary engine: Elegant and intensely simple.

I'm an engineer working in quality control/Research & Development for the nation's largest remanufacturer of engines, transmissions, and differentials. I'm also an ASE certified Master Engine Machinist (too bad that certification doesn't include much for rotary engines!).

Job

I'm a Hardware and Software tester for Intel, A.K.A Quality Assurance Engineer. I find flaws in software and 802.11b Wireless Networking Hardware. I like to break things. <g> I've loved the First Gen RX-7 for years. All I need to do now is power the 7 with linux. Its already powered by atari with that speaker control joystick...Is it just me or does it remind you of an atari 2600 controller? Anyway, Love the car, the engine, want an E-mpeg and mobile wireless internet gateway/access point mounted in the back for internet access, a laptop built into the glove box, one of those slim gateways Oh and that new satillite radio system....Someday I will be Tron.

um.. what is the #1 school? I go to Kettering University (it used to be GMI) and literally this school lives off of the automobile engineering business.

I am a full-time student, trying to get my degree in computer science. I work for Dominos to help pay the bills, and for kicks I work as a bouncer at a local club. I also am a member of the Texas Air National Guard, one weekend a month, 6 or 10 or so weeks a year(do not believe recruiters).

I also freelance in auto repair, plumbing, and whatever else I run accross.

another Jack of all trades, master of none.
