J109 Igniters on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2426323147

THese Igniters for 1st Gen RX-7 Ignitions are hard to find, and expensive if you have to buy them new, or used. THis guy has 10 or so left, but only lists one auction at a time.

Thats right, ****. Everytime i visit my local boneyard, i mean EVERYTIME !! i walk out with at least 1-2 sets.
For about 2 years , now. I have at least 18-25 sets of igniters. From all different year cars. I keep the sets - as - a - set, write the year, and inventory number on each.

No i don't think so. Why, do you need igniters. ??
$ 20.00 dollors a set, mailed to you, I also have other parts such as trim pieces ETC. I know 'new' are priced out of this world.

$20 a set? Man I wish I knew you a day ago. I paid $20 for one.

DO you know how to test an Igniter to make sure it is funcional? ALso can someone explain what the Igniter actually does?

Look in a Haynes repair manual. It will tell you exactly how to test them. It is towards the back in the supplement.
