Well, I have new plugs on the way and I'm going to get new battery cables(negative one keeps smoking when trying to crank).

I have fuel, the tac jumps a little bit, and I have verified wiring and vacuum. Everything is there. I am thinking it is electrical now. Since the tips of the plugs are charred I am starting with those and that battery cable.

It is sounding stronger and stronger.
I haven't touched this car in two weeks and I think it was necessary. I was so frustrated. I've worked out the "Running by Sunday or it's gone" issue.
w00t. I'm in rotorhead mode again.

So... I've read every idea under the sun. Any other ideas?

I'm going to pull the exhaust after the thermal reactor to open it way up for now.
Once I reseat the transmission to free up the throwout bearing lever I'm going to attempt to kick start it.

Another thing that could be is the distributor since I had to pull it off of my old motor. I'm pretty sure I got it dead on where it was... hmm... that could be it too.

I'll get this car running somehow!
