It's broken, and I can't find the hole!

My clutch pedal return spring is broken. The car is still drivable, but I don't like the idea so much. I looked to see where I should re-attach the new one, and I found the hole on the pedal arm itself, but I can't find the hole up under the dash panel. I can see the way the brake pedal spring is attached, but nothing similar for the clutch. Anyone got any pointers? Maybe even pictures?

Thanks,
Brian

There is a tab that is above the lip on the pedal plate. The picture will help understand where is goes.
