Invisable leak?

I have noticed I say last few months, I have been having to put in fluid for my clutch, about every 2 to 3 weeks. I have not been letting it get pasted the min line, but when I do refill to the Max line, its at least half way between the Max and Min. But whenever I look, there is no fluid at all hitting the garage floor, and I don't see anything getting eaten away from the fluid. Right now it about at taht half way point agian, and on the way home, a few corners away, the clutch felt weak as hell, but then the last turn it felt fine agian.

Any help would be good at this time.

the cluth cylinders are going bad. most likley your slave cylinder and the fluid is leaking into the trani bell housing. it only leaks when you push the clutch in

Squeeze the boot around the slave cyl. Any fluid? Now look under your dash where the clutch master mounts to the firewall. Wet? Those are the two places it will go. If its under the carpet, yank it out and clean the area well. Brake fluid will eat the paint and start a nice rust spot for you to fix in a year or so.

I bet if you pull that boot back on the slave cylinder you'll find where it's all going. Or, like jgrewe said, inside the car by the clutch pedal linkage. Do yourself a favor and replace everything. Slave, Master, and the rubber line.

My car did this for months, confused the hell out of me. Then when I was just starting the car to go on a spring break trip to Florida with my friend, the slave cylinder up and shat itself. I was just glad it happened before I went on a huge trip lol
