Intrax Springs...Likes and dislikes

Does anyone have these installed? Tons of 'em on Ebay! Need pros or cons before I buy. Thanks!

And what do you think for the Suspension Techniques that are in www.summitracing.com

They are cheap and Mazdatrix sells them with a more higher price...

they are not very high spring rate, so unless you want a whimpy soft ride close to stock, then don't get the ST

eibach's and racing beat have higher rates

then there are the coilover springs from Ground Control/Eibach
you can choose your spring rate (tons to choose) and the rear springs
have 5 dead wound coils that you can cut to the ride height you want
without sacraficing spring rates

as far as i have seen, the racing beat springs are cheapest

Oh, and from Australia are the King Springs which drop you 2", more than
any other non-adjustable (coilover) spring

When you say racing beat springs are the cheapest...are you reffering to just price??? Are these good quality springs...better than intrax...?? i want more looks than performance...i dont race my FB so its all good if its just for looks........but i dont want a shitty ride either because well i do drive her daily? any suggestions guys....sorry for the thread hijack!!!

i'd go with the racing beat springs. they're cheaper than eibachs, and well they ARE racing beat.

I have approx. 2" drop springs on my car (unknown brand), and I use it as a daily driver. Ride quality is good, until I find a larger bump (not hard to do in Ok). At that time, the rear tends to bottom easily, especially when full of fuel.
As for looks, well, lets just say it looks awesome with the 15" wheels and 205-50's. Handles quite well too.

If you want looks, just cut your stock springs, i did roughly 4 coils in the rear and 2 1/2 in the front.

It's really not that bad, it does bounce, but you'll get that any time you lower a car without proper shocks.

Eibach springs are harsh riding. RB is softer from what I hear and they perform very well.
