Question Intrax Lowering Springs???

Hello everyone.

I did a search on this question, and I seemed to find that the reason that most people that don't like the Intrax springs don't like them is because they ride really rough.

I have some KYB AGX struts that I'm going to be installing, and I figure I might as well get some springs while I'm at it. I have a friend that can get me a deal on the Intrax springs, the whole set brand new for about $95, so I was thinking about going with them.

My question is, other than the rough ride, is there any other reason that these springs wouldn't be a good choice??

Thanks,
Jeff

People also dont like them because they are POS. Spend the extra 100 bucks, get ST, RB or Eibachs

I have them in my car and the ride is that much different as it was with the original springs. the drop is almost 1.75 inchs. But the look is killer.
The only problem is that the front tire rubbs tthe front fender when making a sharp turn and hits a bump.

i went with intrax springs and lumina 5-way and long mitsu-eclipse(trimmed)front bumpstops and zero toe align on all fours.the only word i can use to describe ride is "sweet" the ride is soft although i only have less than an inch of travel in the fronts before it hits the bump stops but cant feel it when it does,on long sweeping curves its nice and straight ahead high-way drives is very comfy but be ready to counter-steer on sharp decreasing radius curves if for some reason you have to brake, the back is going to rotate once the front dampers are fully compressed, the car takes a set before entering a curve which i find very assuring.

Here's a list of the springs I've run in order of how well I liked/like them:
1. Ground Control / Eibach ERS
2. Racing Beat
3. Stock
4. Intrax

I agree with the other member that said spend another $100 and get some other springs...

When I was looking for springs I came up with the Ground Control ones as my #1 choice. They are adjustable and have Eibach springs.

Thanks guys. I guess after all that, I'll probably just go with some Racing Beat springs.

I have Tanabe Super Down Precedo Springs on my 90 vert. They are a 2 inch drop and are extremely low. The car is in a shop right now, but I'll post up a pic when I get the chance.

I personally like my Intrax springs. I've got em matched up with kyb non-adjustables, and my car rides fine. A little rough, but not too bad. Hey, it's a sports car, not a Lincoln!
