interior underway

Well finally today I have almost all of my interior finished minus the dash and the headliner. I must say that the new paint on them looks like they just came from the factory. I used this nice biohazard plastic prep which apparently causes brain and nerve damage without proper respiration. And sprayed 2 coats of dupont primer on and just waited like 10 minutes for it to flash over. Then I started on this nice and expensive dupont interior plastic paint. (most expensive paint ever...you could almost swear gold would be cheaper, but the after effect is utterly amazing.) The surfaces are amazing. I painted burgandy interior pieces and you can't even tell they were burgandy. Looks amazing definitly recommend dupont interior series paint for all you people looking to get a kicking interior. Pics up soon!!

Painting interior? I've never heard of this. What is the finished color? I have a 1983 with brown/tan interior, been looking to switch to black, but most plastic parts are hard to find. I wonder how well it lasts....

More info! I need to redo the interior of my 85 GSL. The maroon is faded to brown and I want to go with black inserts on the door panels and rear quarter inserts.

If you cant find the smilies, you probably still have the basic message editor interface.

Go to USER/CP at the top> then got to EDIT OPTIONS> then got to the bottom and there are three levels of message editor interface -Basic, standard, and enhanced. Basic does not have smilies and stuff, but the other two do.

The cheap way

If you want to do it the cheap way they sell leather spray paint at places like autozone ect. It work great on leather gives it back the original shine and everything but the smell is unbearable . There is a paint for everything from engines to shifter boots you just have to find it ya lazy bums ....

Nector....that was some insightful response you posted there. You come up with that all by yourself...or did the oven-mit give you a hand?
