Interior Light not working

What should I check? Bulb looks fine. A black and green wire that looks like it was soderd is broken but when I put it to the spot there is no light. I ended up taking out the mirror/light to check for power from either of the two wires going into the light, to which I don't have any.

Thanks

Have you checked the door jamb switch to make sure it's grounded good?

Switch seems fine, doesn't work in "on" either,

Shouldn't I have power regardless?

You didnt ground out the power wire did you.....

Get a volt meter and check the bulb. Then check the wires and make sure the ground is grounded out the the frame. Touch one to the ground and touch one to the car frame.

check the bulb by putting a wire to each end on the batter. Otherwise I am 100% sure it's a fuse. I did get a quick spark when I pushed the mirror into place and it touched both ends of the bulb socket.

I get credit for selling the car without the light working so the new owner can find reward in success so early with his new possession. Next, tackle the beehive oil leak.

The cap, rotor, air filter are new, fuel filter okay, plugs very good however she could use a new set of wires and I'd suggest a good aftermarket coil for the leading. I did do the shitty tasks of changing the motor oil, trans oil, starter and replacing the fuel tank and sending unit.
