A twist-up at both ends would leave you without secure, outboard hinges and instead just two loosey goosey centre attachment points - potentially dangerous to any glass sunroofs. Plus you then have to add a mounting point to the front of the sunroof piece, fill in the bolt holes for the hinge flanges, etc.

 

I think you guys got too much time on your hands I wish I had 1/2 the imagination and creativity you guys do

 

Just get a base model with no sunroof and have one installed backwards .
