Intake hose??

I've searched the forums, and come up with nothing for this. I do not have the black hose shown in this picture. I was thinking I'd connect a hose like that to the front where some cold air comes in. Is this hose available anywhere?
?
thanks.

It really won't do you any good.

But if you want to, try and find a car that still has the hose and get it. Or go to home depot and fab something up.

Umm... that's supposed to be a WARM air hose. It goes to a fitting above the exhaust manifold. It's to help your car warm up faster. If you look in the intake you'll notice there is a valve to control the airflow. When the car is cold, it takes the air from the small hose. As the car warms up, the valve opens and the engine takes in cold air.

You can buy the hose at parts stores... it's called intake heater hose or somthing. It has a pic on the box... just make sure you get the right diameter

I believe your confused. He simply wants to know where to get a hose to connect to his air cleaner to draw some cold air in.

If you want a hose that pretty much looks just like that, goto auto-zone, and they have something like that with their cheap cold air intake kits, cone filters ect. Aprox $20, or you could goto LOWES and make your own.
