Installing new O rings under the oil cooler on an 85 12a question

Has anyone prepared an instruction on hints for performing an O ring install on a 85 12a e.g. hints for making it easier – lessons learned on how to get to the 2 bolts holding the “beehive” to the engine – which wrench combination worked for you, etc.? I have tried several searches of the forum and can not find anything comprehensive.

Its pretty straight forward. Biggest problem is always removing the rear banjo bolt. If it gives you that much greif you can remove the front fitting and remove the whole thing as an assembly. I just use a 10mm box wrench to get the 2 small nuts off.
