Ok, I just want some advice on how to boost the speed of my 1983 Rx-7 in terms of max speed and acceleration. I am a newb in the automotive department so if you can lend me some aid for I am only 17 it be much appreciated. Any advice will be helpful. DANKA.

Man, we're such a friendly and helpful group! What these guys are trying to tell you is that this forum is full of good info, but don't expect everybody to work as your personal secretary. Run some searches, do some reading, and most of what you are looking for will be found. Welcome to the forum.

Also to achieve maximum acceleration you usually sacrifice some top end or vice versa, this is because torque is different to horsepower.

Have you decided if you want turbo, or NA, EFI or carb, do you have to comply with emissions, etc, etc, etc,

You have asked a question with a million or more variables, so go search and read A LOT, if you have more specific questions we'll all be glad to assist you.

Steve

PS welcome to the RX7club
