IMSA Body kit-Fuel door

Hey guys.. I have an IMSA Body kit on my 83 GSL and I want to move the fuel door out so that it is flush with the wider rear quarters. Anyone know of a kit or a quick easy way to do it? Thanks for the help.

There is no quick easy way. What I end up doing was to make a mold out of my orginal one and then made a fiberglass part and we glassed it with the fender.

Anyone have any pictures showing a relocated filler neck.. I'm thinking of moving it to the top of the fender.. Possibly a round chrome filler door.. Audi TT style..

My body guy reinforced the fiberglass & used the original door hinge, etc - just relocated it. The fastening mec is still not perfect. There is no lock. Just a bummper-type close. Let me know if you come up w/ a good solution.

if you are willing to blend the fiberglass in, i can have a piece made in fiberglass for you that is the exact replica of the stock. So all you need to do is mold it in to your fender and bolt the stuff on it.

Let me know,
Omid

I plan on just using a Sparco fuel door. Kinda like a motorcycle one.
