easiest place is at the ignition switch, but the dummest place for it/easy to find and wire around.

Hidden inside a compartment such as the glove box, behind-seat storage or center console is good.

If it doesn't have to be acessible from the cabin under the hood right by the battery is perfect.

If you're going racing putting one on the rear bumper is standard in most leagues.

its a remote immobiliser so i dont have to worry about hiding the switch...
and by law it need two points of intereference (two kill points)..
so ignition is one.. would the fuel pump be another good one?

Your car can run for a little bit after you turn of the fuel pump. On a carb anyway.

That depends on how much gas is in the lines and the carb, as well to how much you hit the gas.

as far as i know, my car goes about a block or so when I turn off the pump(at normal driving).

Why do you need a kill switch?

because it's the law in Western Australia that you need to have an immobilizer fitted when you buy or sell a car.

as im just about to buy my 1st 7 i need to put one in it as the guy b4 me hasn't (and its up to the buyer to do it)

so where would be the best 2 place to put it?
ignition switch and....?

-Cheers

If its remote, put it on a relay right at the battery. No battery no go.

You'll have to use a relay because I doubt that the immobilizers switch could adequately handle the current from a battery.
