A seat is something I would want built right and safe. Honestly I would not be suprised if the ebay seats are not built with high standards. spend the money on something else. thats my recomendation.

so what's your good reason of not liking them?

Or just get some Turbo II seats that fits directly into your car, and spare yourself the hassle of fabricating frames for the seats..

I have sat in some seats just like these. padding sucks, stiching sucks, strength sucks. oh and shipping sucks. and then there are the corbeau cts seats in my father's porsche. if you want seats spend the extra for something that will last. BTW those are just like the tenzoR seats not recaros.

This is the seat from Summit that I'm looking at. You can get it in a few different colors, and the quality looks pretty good.

This is an RX-7 seat bracket from Summit. I'm not sure what seats it fits, though I assume it works with the Summit racing seat.

I'm also looking for good 4-point y-type harnesses. I think I'm going to go with a Simpson, but I'm still looking around.

Easy, I was just showing what I was interested in.

By the way, why do you want two seats? The passenger sure as hell doesn't need the extra bolstering, not to mention the passenger side seat bracket is weird and would be hard to match.

I think I just found the harness that I'll be getting. It's one of the few with a retractor that I've seen, which is obviously very important for street use.

You get what you pay for is right. My friend bought a set of apc racing seats before I could get them(thank god). It was almost a year ago and now the look like ****. The padding is badly worn, the stiching is bad(3 rips in the driver side, one in the passenger, he weights about 240), and the fabric is wearing pretty bad. I do not think the fabric is fire resistant either, he dropped a cig on the seat and it kept burning(the seat). I have seats out of a later toyota mr2 and mine still look nicer and are more comfortable than his new ones and they are almost 10years old. They are really light also, maybe 20lbs with brackets. His seats were about the same price at a local import shop.

Quick Reply: I'm going to buy these...
