Im getting in deep

So this all started when my clutch went out. I decided the replace it myself, eager to start my first project on the 7. As I prepared to take out the transmition I realized I need a new exaust system I dont want it to be too loud but i would like a boost in performance. I know the racing beat preformance exaust is high quality but I'm wondering if their is a better or perhaps cheaper option.

Thanks, Zane

Better performance would be an SDJ header, but it is not cheaper by the time you have the rest of the system fabbed up. For cheaper, start looking for a complete used RB system in the for sale section on the forum and keep an eye on eBay.

I would recommend a used rb exhaust if you want to go cheap. It's not loud and obnoxious at all, yet provides a good boost in performance. As for the SDJ, I haven't seen one for sale, but I'm sure they're out there. But ask yourself- is it worth the effort to fab up the rest of the exhaust system if you were to get a slightly better sdj header?

^^^Good question, but it might be worth it if i ended up doing a custom exhaust in the future. Cause if i get rb and then want to go custom, it would be a waste of money. You know what i mean?^^

Nothing, and I mean nothing sounds better than a NA rotary with an SDJ header, borla XR-1 and a N1 style can for an exhaust. Its loud but it performs like a mother ******.

Oh and for the SDJ header as in where to buy. Look up bonzitoyota here on the forums his sig has the link to the page(which I think he owns) that sells the header.

If you have a good hookup with an exhaust shop, you can pick up the Borla and the N1 on eBay, then have the rest of the system built with the SDJ for near the price of a new full RB system.
