I did a full 12 + tranny swap with a 12a i got for 150 bucks.
Its been in for a few weeks, but i turn the car over, it wont catch and fire.
If the car is pulled/rolled off it will run and get to about 1rpm and die,
this to me seems like it would be a carb problem, ive got 2 other carb laying around for thid car, but i also have a rebulid kit for it.

Any advice? or QUICK way to get this done?
If its from swapping a carb or rebuliding, or another issue...any ideas!?

 

your not getting fuel. Check your fuel pump. Is the choke working right? ( at least that is what it sounds like to me)

Also check float level in the carb. The gas should be half way up the site.

 

Does the tach needle move at all when you crank?
