I do agree you need to fabricate, if you can do the work yourself you save alot of money and a great sence of accomplishment the first time you feel the boost. pics are in the sig.

hey glope isnt alot of stuff like engine parts missing...i thought on another post it siad you needed to upgrade to an SE oil pump etc.....

i dont know what your asking but in 85 the car came with a 12a so...im pgussing you can put that in the bay but my 85 is driven everyother day and its fine..??

Well, the engine itself will fit with little problem. The problem that you will run into ins the the 12AT is fuel injected while the 12A is carb. This means that you will need EFI fuel pump, lines, filter, etc. along with some sort of engine management to go with it (Haltech or something). Whatever engine management/ECU that you choose, will also have to be tuned. So you are probably looking at atleast $3k to install and setup. I personally think that you would be better off with a 13bt, as the amount of work (tuning, EFI system, etc.) would be about the same, but there is more potential and replacement parts are easy to find. The other option is to do a blow-thru turbo (uses a carb) setup like some of the turbo 12as on here. That 12at is unique and does have the cool factor going for it, though.
