Ok I thought the bee hive oil cooler only came on 83-85? But this 82 I was looking at has one, i checked the VIN and it is an 82. Any ideas?

 

Motor swap to a newer 12A.

 

could be i guess thats why the bay is so clean.

 

I think everything but the SA(79-80) and the GSL-SE had the bee hive.


I spec the hive on your '82 is factory.

Ahhh coolness, but its not my 82 yet. We are still in the setting a price stage. Since this ****** picked up the car for free i am trying to make his profit margain fairly small. We dont want him picking up all kinds of cars then reselling them.

 

No, only the '83-'85 12As have the beehive. The SA ('79-'80), the ('81-'82) FB, and the ('84-'85) GSL-SE all have the front mounted oil cooler. Most likely, the engine has been swaped at some point.
